AT&T is consolidating its three largest Metroplex offices, downtown Dallas, Plano and Irving, onto one campus at the old EDS site. This is not an expansion. It is the entire global headquarters, and the same group of people who today drive to three different places will drive to one.
What this means for housing is simple. Plano's incentive agreement fixes how many employees must be on the campus and by when. Those hiring dates are moving dates. And prices across this entire corridor are lower than they were a year ago.
